Pink Elephant is a venture builder and fund advancing safe, science-backed psychedelic therapy and holistic mental health. We're building a new kind of digital media brand — one that educates, empowers, and guides real-life change. Our editorial platform combines journalism, interactivity, and tools for self-work. Social media is a key growth engine — not just a traffic driver, but an immersive, standalone content ecosystem that reflects our mission.

We're looking for a visionary SMM Manager (Social-First Media Growth Manager): a strategist as well as a creator and community-savvy navigator - to scale our media brand across platforms, build an engaged audience from the ground up, and turn our social channels into an everyday destination for people on their journey toward mental and emotional well-being.

What You’ll Do

• Own and scale Pink Elephant’s social media ecosystem from 0 to 500K+ subscribers across key platforms (e.g. Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Telegram, LinkedIn, etc.)

• Design platform-native strategies that position each channel as an independent content and inspiration hub — not just a feed for repurposed articles

• Create content rubrics that combine evergreen formats, reactive moments, and original series native to social (e.g., micro-videos, UGC diaries, visual explainers, live expert sessions)

• Build growth loops by integrating media, e-commerce, and community touchpoints

• Work with editorial, design, and growth teams to turn Pink Elephant’s core narratives into social-native formats

• Experiment relentlessly, track KPIs, and refine based on data and feedback

• Lead collaborations with influencers, creators, and producers whose values and audiences align with ours

Your 90-Day Launch Plan

In your first 3 months, you’ll:

1. Develop a cross-platform growth roadmap: define channels, goals, priorities, and content architecture

2. Build the brand voice & tone across platforms: from visual language to caption style

3. Design & test a weekly content engine with hero, hub, and help formats

4. Pilot rubrics and content series (e.g., microdosing diaries, “What helped me” reels, 30-second explainers, expert Q&As)

5. Set up analytics stack to track growth, engagement, and retention

6. Assemble lightweight production workflows to scale experimentation without burning ou

Who We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who’s either:

• A profound SMM pro with a proven record of scaling social media channels for a media brand or content-led business

• A creator/producer who built their own brand or helped an influencer go from 0 to 100K+

• A content-driven founder or growth marketer who’s grown a product or platform via storytelling on Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok

You’re a fit if you:

• Think in audience-first formats, not just posts

• Know what it takes to build from scratch — and thrive in ambiguity

• Can blend media strategy with creator energy — moving from slides to scripts to stories

• Understand both wellness and internet culture, and feel at home in the psychedelic/well-being space

• Can collaborate across functions and lead both strategy and execution

• Have examples or case studies of growing social channels (your own or others’)

• Have experience working with or as: influencers, editorial teams, community managers, brand designers

• 500K+ relevant, engaged followers in 12 months

• 5-7 recurring, platform-native content series people return for

• High conversion from social → community → platform use (newsletter, marketplace, AI tools)
