Senior UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype engaging, player-centered, seamless interfaces and HUDs for FPS gameplay
• Create seamless console and gamepad experiences across platforms
• Develop detailed wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
• Design visual interfaces including HUDs, menus, in-game screens, editing in-game images that are used as a part of a game world, and UI art assets (icons, visual indicators, crosshairs, hit markers, animating)
• Collaborate closely with game design, art, and audio teams to ensure cohesive player experience
• Conduct user research and usability testing, gathering player feedback and analytics to inform design decisions
• Maintain and evolve UI documentation and design systems
• Advocate for the player's experience, ensuring designs contribute to engaging gameplay, clarity, and emotional impact
• Iterate on designs based on playtest feedback, player data, and shifting project needs

Requirements

• 4–5+ years as a UI/UX Designer in the gaming industry
• 2+ shipped titles, including at least one AAA or AA title credited as UI/UX Designer
• Proven experience with FPS projects and console/gamepad-supported titles
• Deep understanding of UX principles in game interfaces and player-first design
• Strong understanding of FPS-specific UX challenges: split-second readability, peripheral vision, cognitive load management, and on-screen clutter
• Strong visual design skills — composition, typography, color theory, iconography
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
• Ability to create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present design rationale to stakeholders
• Strong portfolio showcasing game interface design work, including FPS projects if available
