Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer with 6+ years of experience.

This role requires a blend of low-level systems knowledge, advanced programming skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience in developing high-load, scalable applications and architecting cloud-based solutions for the financial technology sector.

🛠What you will do

- Design & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain high-availability, fault-tolerant platforms and services, with a focus on cloud-native and distributed systems.

- Cloud Management & Optimization: Manage cloud platforms, ensure efficient orchestration, and optimize resources for cost-effective, scalable solutions.

- Containerization & CI/CD: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

- Documentation & Technical Communication: Explain solutions in clear, plain English and guide less technical stakeholders on their usage.

- Legacy System Modernization: Refactor and redesign legacy systems to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability.

🧰Required

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

- Advanced Python skills, intermediate Bash scripting.

- Experience with micro-service architecture and distributed systems.

- Strong knowledge of Linux environments.

- Self-directed problem-solving and solution planning.

🔑Nice to have

(Preferred but Not Required)

- Familiarity with C++ and C#.

- Experience with Jupyter, Conda, and Python package management.

- Understanding of basic networking concepts.

- Experience with SQL databases, S3-compatible storage, and message queue systems (e.g., ZMQ, AMPS).

- Experience with Agile methodologies.
