Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As we expand, we’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science & Machine Learning team and help us scale our efforts through data-driven insights and advanced machine-learning models.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and deploy full-stack ML models (binary classification and regression) to detect and prevent financial crime during transaction processing and client onboarding: gathering requirements, prototyping, and deployment in a production environment.

• Manage and optimize a portfolio of transaction monitoring rules, improving their efficiency and reducing false positives

• Automate the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle using AutoML approaches

• Work with large datasets from DWH systems (PostgreSQL, Databricks) for analysis and feature engineering

• Contribute to building and improving infrastructure for ML model operationalization and inter-service communication

Who You Are

• Experienced Machine Learning Engineer or Full-stack Data Scientist with a solid track record in delivering production-grade ML solutions

• Proficient in Python and SQL-based programming

• Skilled in working with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks

• Experienced in deploying machine learning models and API services (e.g., FastAPI) in production environments

• Strong understanding of system architecture and ability to design scalable ML solutions

• Analytical and critical thinker with a proactive, results-driven mindset

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, start-up environments with minimal supervision

• Educational background in mathematics, engineering, economics, or computer science

• Fluent in English, capable of working in an international environment

Working format:

• Cyprus: Relocation package is provided.

• Spain: we are only able to hire candidates who possess a DNI (for Spanish nationals) or a NIE linked to a valid working permit in Spain (for foreign nationals). Relocation support is not provided.

• Poland: employment will be under 'Umowa o Pracę' (UoP). Relocation support is not provided.
