Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js)

We are looking for a Senior Frontend engineer to join the Motor team, bringing extensive experience in Vue.js, Nuxt, and building user-facing applications with high engagement. The Motor team develops car insurance products and focuses on acquisition of new customers and retaining current ones, using the qic.online – the best insurance portal in Qatar and ultimate super-app in Qatar, QIC app.

Responsibilities

1. Design and deliver large-scale frontend features
2. Lead technical discussions, mentor peers, and contribute to architectural consistency
3. Collaborate closely with analysts, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers
4. Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and optimize application performance

Requirements

1. 4+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, trusted with complex features and team collaboration
2. Proficiency in Vue.js 2/3, Vuex, Pinia, and Nuxt 2/3
3. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS
4. Hands-on experience with automated testing using Vitest or Jest
5. Familiarity with Node.js will be a plus
