Senior Data Engineer

Location: Remote (UK working hours)

Salary:  $4,000–$5,400 gross 

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines

• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets

• Optimize data performance, quality, and reliability
  Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection
  Build and maintain data platforms (DWH / Data Lake / Lakehouse)

• Implement best practices for data quality, monitoring, and security

Requirements:

• 4–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering

• Strong SQL and proficiency in Python.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

• Solid understanding of data warehouse architectures and ETL/ELT processes
  Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)

• Knowledge of data modeling principles

• English proficiency at B2+ level

• Strong communication skills and ownership mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.)

• Background in high-load or enterprise environments
