Head of Licensing and M&A Projects

Cyprus, Limassol.

Freedom24 is expanding globally — and we’re looking for a senior leader to drive strategic licensing initiatives and manage high-impact M&A projects across multiple jurisdictions.

What you’ll do:

• Lead international licensing projects (MiCA, MiFID II, EMI/PI, etc.) from preparation to approval

• Manage regulatory submissions, documentation packages, timelines, and communication with authorities

• Oversee multi-jurisdiction programs and ensure full regulatory readiness

• Drive M&A workflows: due diligence, documentation, Change of Control, and integration

• Coordinate datarooms and communication between internal/external stakeholders

• Build roadmaps, project plans, dashboards, and ensure timely delivery

• Lead cross-functional alignment across Legal, Compliance, Product, Tech, Finance, Risk

• Translate regulatory requirements into clear operational tasks and maintain transparent project documentation

What we expect:

• 5+ years of project management in fintech, payments, brokerage, banking, or other regulated sectors

• Experience with licensing processes, regulatory submissions, and M&A (due diligence + integration)

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (MiCA, MiFID II, PSD2, AMLD, EMI/PI, FATF)

• Experience communicating with regulators and managing cross-functional stakeholders

• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational tasks

• Tools: Jira, Confluence, Notion or similar

• Fluent English & Russian
