C++ Developer (trading)

We are seeking a seasoned C++ developer to join a highly effective team that engineers and implements enhancements for the company's global trading platform. This team owns a straight-through processing (STP) system, comprising services for trade processing and connectivity to external trading venues. The ideal candidate must work effectively in a small team, communicating clearly with both technical members and non-technical business teams based in the US.

Required

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline 

• Minimum of 7 years of C++ experience in Windows or Linux environment utilizing object-oriented techniques, good testing methodology, and high quality. 

• Minimum of 5 years financial industry knowledge. Preferably working with Fixed Income products 

• Experience in multi-threading.

• Experience with message brokers (e.g. MQ).

• Database application development experience utilizing SQL and relational database techniques. 

Nice to have

• Experience in developing high throughout, low latency, resilient software. 

• Experience in post trade and clearing 

• Knowledge of Python/JavaScript programming 

• Experience with STP 

• Experience with FIX/FpML protocols
