Business Development Manager (Games)
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR ๐ซถ
As a Gaming Business Development Manager (only gaming segment), you will drive our growth in UK, Europe and North America in gaming segment (computer games studios, mobile game developers and publishers), by identifying and closing new B2B opportunities among gaming companies, building strong client relationships, and helping companies scale their remote workforce with seamless international payment solutions.
You will lead our sales in targeted regions (UK, Europe, North America), outreach prospects directly and create a team around you to scale success cases.
WHAT YOU'LL DO ๐น๏ธ
Identify and acquire new clients in target markets (Gamedev companies, gaming studios, publishers, developers)
Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers (HRDs, CFOs, Heads of Operations)
Drive the full sales cycle: from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing deals
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and long-term satisfaction
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, international payroll regulations, and competitive landscape
Represent the company at industry trade events, conferences, and online forums
SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR ๐
Strong network in Gamedev industry (relations with CEOs, COOs, HRD, CFOs, Leads of game developers and gaming studios)
Self achiever who can generate sales opportunities from 0 to 1.
5+ years of experience in business development or B2B sales in Fintech, SaaS, payments, gaming or HR tech
High valued network of potential B2B customers, that matched with the Stape value proposition offer. Expecting to acquire clients with 200+ employees in terms of 6 months
Proven track record of hitting sales targets and growing accounts
Solid understanding of global contractor payments, cross-border finance, or remote work ecosystems
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
Fluent / Native English
Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and productivity platforms
