Business analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our product and development teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and executed with precision. In our fast-paced and evolving environment, your ability to translate complex ideas into structured tasks and actionable insights will be essential to driving product quality, process clarity, and overall company growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate incoming requirements from the product team into clear and structured development tasks, maintaining a balance between product understanding (“what and why”) and technical execution (“how”).
2. Prepare and maintain documentation for complex product features in Notion: either by writing it independently or refining and visualizing drafts provided by product managers.
3. Participate in collecting and analyzing post-release product data: identify broken or unstable user flows and formulate hypotheses for improvement.
4. Act as a bridge between product and tech teams: join meetings, clarify requirements, gather feedback, and ensure effective communication between sides.
5. Maintain and update the product knowledge base and documentation for key features.
6. Support product managers and developers in clarifying business logic, user scenarios, and success metrics for features.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience as a business or systems analyst, preferably in a product-oriented IT company.
2. Ability to write tasks that are clear and understandable for both developers and product managers.
3. Experience structuring technical documentation using tools like Notion, Confluence, or equivalents.
4. Basic understanding of web application architecture, APIs, and databases (you don’t need to write SQL but should understand data structures and relationships).
5. Experience working with analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
6. Ability to formulate and validate product-related hypotheses based on data.
7. Strong written communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
8. Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to dive into context and identify areas for growth independently.
